Daytona Beach Bike Week

Daytona Beach, Florida is known around the world for its great beach weather. The Daytona Beach area's mild winters have made it a haven for retirees and spring breakers. Summers can be long and hot with showers providing much appreciated relief during the rainy season.

Daytona Beach' winters can be cool especially if the wind is coming off the cool winter waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Even on the coolest winter days, Daytona Beach is paradise in comparison to the cold of the Northeast and Midwest.

Spring and Fall are spectacular. Warm days and comfortable nights make for perfect beach days and relaxing evenings.

Summers are hot and humid with afternoon thunderstorms the create numerous dangerous lightning strikes. Florida is the lightning capital of North America. The six-month hurricane season runs from June 1 through November 30 and Floridians have learned to be ready when a storm threatens the area.
