Ocean Walk merchants welcome new movie operator
A new operator takes over The Ocean Walk Shoppes' movie theater here Monday, promising a $2 million renovation that could boost foot traffic and business for the colorful oceanfront complex.

One of Volusia County's three new one-way beach driving zones is switching directions. The one-way zone between Seabreeze and University boulevards in Daytona Beach is now northbound only. Beach Patrol Capt. Tammy Marris said that's because of heavier eastbound traffic using Seabreeze.
